This book, Sanlúcar de Barrameda: Where God Was Born, grew out of my love affair with this incredible town, my soul town on the planet. Some of it is extracted from t. the chapters on Sanlúcar de Barrameda that appeared in the English version of my book Sunset in a Glass: Adventures of a Food and Wine Road Warrior in Spain. This edition includes several pages of new text and photographs. It is about 25 pages longer than the original chapters, which were revised in the process.
